UX Design is Physical Therapy for Software, let me explain. I have over 9 years of working as a Healthcare professional (Physical Therapy). Every patient/client was a person with challenges looking for solutions. My day was centered around assessing client needs on an individual basis, taking measurements, performing assessments, as well as writing reports to Medicare and other Insurance companies utilizing data (quantitative and qualitative) to justify my course of action. I would utilize the data that was collected on daily, weekly and monthly intervals to formulate personalized recommendations to patients and patient's families. These recommendations would include me designing custom bracing solutions, custom wheelchair fitments, custom home programs, adjustments to home environment and design layout to reduce risk and meet ADA standards. Creative problem solving and consistent growth are the things that drive me.
